This study determine the Financial Constraint of SHS
student during work immersion. Many student believe that financial problems are
having an adverse effect on their academic performance. (According to
University of central England undergraduates has shown).

The survey carried by UCE’s Centre of research into
quality (CRQ) found that 51.9 percent of the 
1,139 full-time undergraduates polled believed their academic

According to DepEd secretary Leonor Briones, the
work immersion is a key feature in the senior high school curriculum. It can be
conducted in different ways depending on the purposes and needs of the
learners. It was stated in the guidelines that work immersion will help develop
among learners life and career skills, and will prepare them to make decisions
on postsecondary education or employment gearing towards the four exits

Financial constraints has a big effect in work
immersion of SHS they can’t do their some requirement for their immersion
because of financial problem.

Some student said that the place where they to
immersion should have some allowance.

Parents agree that immerse place should be near from
them, so that they can minimize expense.

Just over 80 percent said that their financial
status have negative impact if the place is too far from their houses.

Students with having parents with no permanent job
are most likely to suffer if the place is too far.

The first chapter of this study aim to know what are
those negative impact of lacking financial support of senior high school
student who are now having work immersion.

 

DepEd required senior high school student that they
should complete the number of hours required.
