Theory of Evolution ?Issa AlwazirIslamic School of San Diego12/4/17 – 12/11/17Science 7th Definition of EvolutionThe definition of evolution is; “The process by which different kinds of alive organisms are thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms during the history of the earth.”GoalsTo explain what the theory of evolution To show why the theory of evolution is a bunch of bogus How the Theory of Evolution was created? The Theory of Evolution was created after Charles Robert Darwin returned from an expedition called The Voyage of The Beagle. This Expedition was known to be one of the greatest of all time. This voyage was to help scientist observe animals that are not in England. But upon this ship was obviously 22 years old Charles Darwin. Darwin observed the differences and similarities in each animal in different regions. Darwin noticed that each animal had adapted and had changes because of their regions.
Then darwin came back and created the Theory of Evolution. MilestonesThe Thought of Theory of Evolution The first person to think that Everyone had a common ancestor was named Erasmus Darwin.,Erasmus was the grandfather for Charles Darwin; Improvements in the Theory of Evolution When Charles Darwin came along he upgraded the Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection. Founders for The Theory of Evolution Erasmus Darwin Erasmus Darwin was the first person to propose the Theory of Evolution to humanity but he did not have that much evidence.
He was born on December 12 1731 in Elston England. When Darwin was young he was fascinated by botany he translated books and made books about plants. Darwin also introduced to the British the Theory of Evolution but in return the people showed hostility toward him. Charles DarwinCharles Darwin was a british naturalist. During his lifetime people used to think that all the rich variety of creatures were created by god.
Darwin realized that animals evolved. And took into account that adaptations helped creatures survive in the areas they lived in and only the best can survive. In 1831 Darwin went on a research trip to the galapagos islands on the beagle. From his observations on the trip he finally finished his Theory of Evolution.
Mechanism of Evolution Mutation is “the changing of the structure of a gene, resulting in a variant form that may be transmitted to subsequent generations, caused by the alteration of single base units in DNA, or the deletion, insertion, or rearrangement of larger sections of genes or chromosomes.” Natural Selection is”the process whereby organisms better adapted to their environment tend to survive and produce more offspring. The theory of its action was first fully expounded by Charles Darwin and is now believed to be the main process that brings about evolution.” and Punctuated Equilibrium is “the hypothesis that evolutionary development is marked by isolated episodes of rapid speciation between long periods of little or no change.”
