Police Brutality is a worldwide problem that is getting worse each year. Men and women around the world are being abused by Police Officers. I mean just because they wear a badge, why should they be able to bully us? Many wrong convictions have been made by some type of police brutality.Police misconduct is illegal and a violation to people’s individual rights.Officers could be arrested for the misconduct and abuse they are bringing upon people. Many organizations around the world have been made to help get rid of Police Brutality and help people that have been abused by it.People sometimes refer to Police Brutality as an excessive use of force.Organizations around the world have been working hard to minimize police brutality and stop it.Laws have been made to get rid of and minimize police brutality. Many innocent people have been beaten and abused around the world, and just because they wear a badge?Police Brutality is the use of excessive or unnecessary force by police officers when their with people.”Excessive use of force ” means a force much to strong what would be necessary in order to handle situations. There are many ways police brutality is done. The most obvious way of police brutality is the physical form.Police officers can use nerve gas, batons, pepper spray, and guns in order intimidate or intentional hurt someone.Other ways is false arrests, verbal abuse, psychological intimidation, sexual abuse, police corruption, racial profiling, political repression, and improper use of tasers. An example of this is if a police officer beat someone with a baton, that would be considered police brutality.Nowadays, many countries have laws that address police brutality. Under these laws, police brutality is seen as a very serious offense. Unfortunately, even with the law covering police brutality, many complaints by civilians have not been investigated.Researchers suggest that it happens because the police has the authority to use force when necessary, and it’s difficult to prove that police brutality took place.More police officers now record their interactions with civilians.Later on the recorded conversations can be seen in a case.It can be the difference between a person going to jail or not.A couple of years ago a man finally got out of jail after 56 years and he wasn’t even the one who did it.Wrong convictions are really bad.Police brutality doesn’t just hurt the person it’s happening to, but the families also.It hurts families to no end,and some kids don’t even get to meet their real parents. These horrors continue. No human being should suffer as these people did, in a civilized nation of laws and government. When can police officers use force, and when is use of force excessive? Questions such as this have troubled families around the world. There are no hard national standards, no binding state policies, not even a national database that tracks when, where, and under what circumstances police officers use deadly force. The result is a free-wheeling space in American law and police policy. The nation’s 17,000 law enforcement agencies set their own terms, but when people are foul, the courts has wrong results.Almost every day there are police misconduct cases that court has to attend to,but there is no national data. This contributes to a larger problem of police officers doing police brutality end up going free being guilty of lawful awful behavior. This enrages many families around the world and some cases last longer than a year. Researcher have suggested that the failure to prevent and act on reports of police brutality is usually do to their type of culture.Police are authorized and expected to use force only when necessary, some people see it difficult to go against an officer for use force in a situation.Street situations change in seconds and sometimes are difficult to control.Sometimes making it easy to blame an officer for excessive force. Most police officers record their interactions with people in case of an investigation. This is the most common form of police brutality, which is physical. It can also take the form of verbal or psychological intimidation. In most societies, police brutality and the profiling of minorities is closely intertwined. Members of the more dominant race, white, black, mexican, etc. are usually treated with respect by the police officers.Minorities might be targeted by police officers. Many nations attempt to have the least amount of excessive force possible.Laws that have been made to control police force as much as possible there are also laws for minor profiling. These laws can sometimes be difficult to enforce, especially in places where the bulk of the population hold negative things against minorities.Police brutality has been taking place since as long as police forces were made. Some periods have experienced more violence than others.Nazi Germany for example, was famous for its brutal police tactics. The United States during the Industrial Revolution, when violent police forces were used to intimidate labor workers and beating them.In the 1960s, the civil rights movement in the U.S. also dealt with brutality, especially with other races beside whites. To me police brutality is way wrong.Officers need to do their job the right way without making other persons lives hard.If an officer thinks just because he wears a badge he can abuse his power, he doesn’t need to be in the police force. If an officer stops somebody with their emergency lights on for speeding, that’s wrong. They could be going to the hospital for a relative who’s dying and the officer is keeping them from seeing them. This can cause court cases to last year’s and just because you stopped them from doing what they were supposed to do.Conflict between officers and people have risen in my point of view and there supposed to be the ones protecting us from harm. Most kids like me these days look at police officers and are scared or intimidated. Why are all kids scared of the people protecting us?Shouldn’t they be glad to see a police officer walking around?Police brutality has ruined the view on police officers as a whole. We should look at them as protection and somebody to look to for help. Most police brutality starts with the officer having a bad day or not feeling good. Why have the job if you’re not going to do the right thing every day you’re on the job?I believe that whatever job you get, you should do it to the best of your ability without making someone else life harder if you don’t have to.Society nowadays is lazy and only cares about themselves. Some police officers could harm somebody just because they think they have the right to.This is what causes many long court cases and hardships in families. In conclusion, police brutality is a bad thing that needs to be done away with. Many countries have dealt with police brutality, and many families.Police brutality does no good and only hurts things.Towns that have experienced and are experiencing police brutality have to make difficult choices.Should they fire the officer or not? This is a hard question that many people have that they don’t want to answer. Why do this stuff in the first place? It makes everyone involved lives harder and for what? This is a thing that never should have started and it should be enforced more than it is.It’s a terrible thing that hurts people for no reason except for personal pleasure of the police officer.Again, why should they get to bully us just because they wear a badge? We should see officers as leaders and protectors.I mean, they are the ones that are supposed to protect us right?Police brutality is a sore subject no matter where you are. It’s a thing that nobody likes or wants.
