Imagine us gained control over Guam and Puerto Rico

Imagine being taken over by another country? Some people will gain, but some people don’t. This practice is called imperialism and back in the day it was used to a policy of extending a country’s power and influence through diplomacy or military force. Some countries fought for each other like Europe, Africa, and Asia. They would fight for all different types of things pertaining to the country they wanted power or intelligence from.An example of imperialism is the annexation of Hawaii in 1898. Annexing Hawaii gave the US possession of sea port, buildings, military equipment, and etc. One of the reasons that the US annexed Hawaii was because of Hawaii’s important role in the us economy. The US also took control of Guam, the Philippines, and Puerto Rico. The us gained control over Guam and Puerto Rico after the Spanish-American war. That war was resolved four months later when the Treaty of Paris 1898 was signed by both parties. Apart from (promising that something will definitely happen or that something will definitely work as described) the independence of Cuba, the agreement (between countries) also forced Spain to give up Guam and Puerto Rico to the United States. The British Empire was not just a few (groups of people or other living things) in the new world Americas and modern Canada. Great Britain had large influences over Australia, which was founded as a British prison/punishment (group of people or other living things). Britain also had a huge presence in India and Burma. Many of the Caribbean islands owe their start and authority and control to the British Empire. Africa was not unable to be harmed by Britain’s influence either. South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria, and Kenya all were part British (when kings and queens try to push their rule as far as possible). When kings and queens try to push their rule as far as possible can give native peoples from different countries many positive opportunities and the change to live a new improved way of living. When kings and queens try to push their rule as far as possible) can change laws giving people more freedom and rights. … Although when kings and queens try to push their rule as far as possible) led to other good results, it also caused many negative situations and events such as slavery. The benefits of of imperialism would be that groups of people or other living things helped a country become and stay a world power. Social And cultural factors were also reasons for when kings and queens try to push their rule as far as possible. related to kings and queens trying to push their rule as far as possible countries believed their way of life and cultures were superior to other countries. … These included social, political, money-based, and cultural benefits. With some good there are also many bad which is caused by when kings and queens try to push their rule as far as possible, illnesses, draining of useful things/valuable supplies, and treating people badly or unfairly because of their race. When they first tried to take over African nations the soldiers got sick and died after they got better medicine they tried to take them over again(and succeeded). When they discovered useful useful things/valuable supplies in the groups of people or other living things they would just collect it to benefit of their own process of people making, selling, and buying things without worrying the destruction of another. People would also think less of the people of the groups of people or other living things and the nations would give less rights to the people of the groups of people or other living things. In conclusion imperialism can be found as both good for a country and bad for a country. Imperialism can either bring good things like new natural resources or bad things like slavery.
