branches, which branch of knowledge is useful and should be acquired, which one is harmful and should better be avoided or put aside , what is possible to know and should know, and what is simply not possible to know, how can knowledge be acquired. 1.2 BASIC PRINCIPLEThere are two basic principle that should remain before reconstruct the knowledge in the Islamic perspective which are the objective and the rejection of western thought and civilization. The ObjectiveThe main objective of knowledge and education is to develop a personality in accordance with the worldview of a society.

There is no sense in affirming faith in Allah without refuting all false gods. One the same premise, while reconstructing knowledge in the light of the Islamic view, we should not only reject the knowledge based on Western view, but also reject and negate it because the Western Worldview is not only different from the Islamic worldview but in fact it is western view contradictory to islamic view. Below we can see the comparison between Islamic Worldview and Western Worldview that are totally diffrent from each other The Islamic View The Western View Sources The divine guidance provided by Allah Through His apostles From Human intellect and senses Concept of Human Being Human being all are humble servants of Allah who submit to His commandments unconditionally Human beings are fully independent to lead and choose their way lives as they wish Concept of the Universe Allah is the only Creator and Sustainer of the Universe and He has given mankind with limited authority to explore and manipulated in this universe.
The life hereafter is more priority over than the life in this world The Universe is the outcome of the natural laws which the nature exist by itself. Human beings can be enjoy with full freedom on the earth and free to lead their way lives in. For them lives will end in itself 4. Concept of Deity Allah is the one who created mankind and He also the one and only Lord, the sustainer of all creation and He is living in his ways. He also has a power and possesses all authority.
No one else is worthy of worship and obedience They believe that faith in god is an entirely personal affair for an individual, having nothing to do with the collective life. Every single individual, they deserve to line their way they likes. Goal of Life A human being is required to lead his life in this world in obedience of the divine injunctions on the model set by Allah’s messenger.
